Sunny holiday house
Tranquility and comfort in a beautiful area
Casa Limão (Lemon) owes its name to the large the lemon tree in the garden. The house is in a tranquil area, on a dead end road, just outside the small village of Junqueira.
Casa Limão consists of 2 accommodations:
Limão Jardim, for up to 6 people, is the upper part of the house. It has a spacious living with seating area, dining area and open plan kitchen. Adjacent there are 2 large bedrooms, and the bathroom. Via the staircase you reach the mezzanine, with beds for 2 more people. The house offers views on the large walled garden with fruittrees, and the surrounding hills and valleys.
On the sunside of the house there is a spacious terrace with barbecue, dining area and a sunshade. If you prefer to be in the shade, the shaded terrace in the garden is a great place.
Limão Vista, for up to 4 people, is the lower part of the house. The spacious living, with open plan kitchen, has large windows that offer a you a spectacular view on the valley, and a double sofabed. The large bedroom has a built-in wardrobe. There is a comfortable ensuite bathroom and a toilet.
Outside there is a large and sunny terrace with sunshade, dining area, barbecue, and some borders with beautiful flowering plants.
Limão Jardim and Limão Vista are connected by an indoor staircase (can be locked on both sides), which makes it possible to combine them for larger groups. Ideal for a family- or group holiday. Of course each accommodation has its own entrance, and offers you maximum privacy.
Casa Limão has it's own swimmingpool, with terrace and sunloungers.

Alojamento Local and environment
Casa Limão is certified as Alojamento Local (registration number 12203/AL). A certainty that your holiday house meets all establishment-, safety- and hygiene regulations.
In 2012 a carport with solar panels was installed in the parking of Casas Fruta. With these panels we generate about 50% of our total electricity consumption. A solar collector was installed on the roofs of both Casa Limão and Casa Amêndoa, which produces the hot water for these houses.
By these and other measures we try to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
